Jefferson served as the Executive Director and President of economic and community development organizations in Mississippi for more than seven years. The objective of these organizations was to strengthen regions by providing direction in the development of wealth through job creation, retention, and expansion. As Economic Developer, Jefferson served on the International Committee of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), as well as many other boards and committees for economic and community development related organizations throughout various municipalities in Mississippi.
Prior to entering his profession, Jefferson worked on State political campaigns where he managed fundraising operations.

In 2000, Jefferson graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration. While attending Alabama, he was a varsity letterman on the football team. After obtaining his degree, he lived in Brazil where he gained work experience.
He is a lifetime member of the University of Alabama “A” Club and the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA).

Claire Stone Houston

Claire works with Caiacana in its marketing initiative. She coordinates the creative modalities, including the development of verbal ad visual styles that determine the overall look and feel of Caiacana’s marketing, media, and branding.
Claire Stone Houston, an artist and graphic designer, focuses on the effective design logos and ad marketing collateral for companies, schools and universities, charitable organizations, and social clientele.
Claire graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts in both History and German. Claire later launched her own magazine in which she conducted interviews with well-known personalities such as “The Who’s” legendary lead guitarist, Pete Townshend.
While working in print media, Claire developed her interest in the visually creative side of communication. Blending the use of 2D, 3D, and web-animation software, Claire has served clients in New Orleans, Atlanta, Memphis, Nashville, New York, Costa Mesa, etc.
She marries vintage with modern into design branding for start-up companies and for those companies re-entering the market. Claire is currently working on her own collection of landscapes in oil for Brown’s Fine Art in Jackson, Mississippi.

Based in the state of Minas Gerais, the “Home of Cachaça”, our distillers specialize in numerous areas within the sugarcane and cachaça industries: project consulting, master distiller qualifications, the manufacturing of cachaça and sugarcane byproducts, etc. They also consult in the design, fabrication, and operation of traditional alembic distillery equipment.
